IDSTF supports Idaho employers investing in advanced manufacturing technologies across innovation-driven industries — including nuclear energy, mineral extraction and precision manufacturing.

Accelerate your growth

Any Idaho-based business can apply for this funding. Employers can get up to 80% reimbursement for approved training costs (up to $25,000 per employee) to expand their workforce or upskill current employees.

Workforce training

Enroll employees in workforce training program

Example: Employee enrolls in manufacturing technology program at local college.

Customized training

Bring in an expert instructor

Example: Welding certification taught by a visiting specialist

Registered Apprenticeship/OJT

Enroll employees in workforce training program

Example: Employee enrolls in manufacturing technology program at local college.

Training can include:

Approved training with local Idaho schools
Customized/vendor-led programs
Specialized skills
On-the-job training (OJT) and registered apprenticeships

When to apply for this funding?

Applications will open by Mar. 18, on a rolling, first-come, first-serve basis until funds are depleted. Contracts can range up to 2–3 years.
