Youth/Young Adult Career Exploration and Hiring Event – Meridian

Event Summary

Anyone between the ages of 14 and 24 are invited to attend this hiring event to meet potential employers. Career exploration opportunities will also be available.

Description

Career Exploration Opportunities:

• Experts will be available to review resumes.
• Two 30-minute job search workshops will take place at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
• Employer representatives will also discuss their industry, share insights into various career paths, and provide guidance on the skills and qualifications required for success.

Meet over 25 employers including: The Ada County Highway District, Ada County Sheriff’s Office, Admiral Beverage (Pepsi), Apprenticeship Idaho, Blue Bird Car Wash, The Bureau of Land Management, Bogus Basin, Boise State University, Boys and Girls Club, the Boise School District, the City of Kuna, the City of Boise, Cinemark Majestic, CBRE – Global Workplace Solutions, Dairy Queen, Encompass Health, EverWild Forest School – Summer Camp, Geronimo Hospitality, Goodwill, The Grove Hotel, the Idaho Department of Labor Youth Program, Idaho Launch, the ICONIC program, the Idaho Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Intermountain Pet Hospital, Personnel Plus, Roaring Springs, Senior Helpers, Sun Valley Resort, Sun Valley Culinary Institute, Treasure Valley YMCA, Wahooz and Whole Foods Market.
